of her beloved Grandmother and our Organizing Regent.

Thank you to our former Chapter Regents, State Officers and

especially our new Florida Regent for sharing in our special day!

Thank you to our members, and other local chapter members,

who celebrated their first-year or even their 43rd-year with our DAR family!

Thank you to our hardworking executive officers, without each one of you,

this event could not have been possible.

Thank you for celebrating Kan Yuk sa Day with all of us!

of our Organizing Regent Catherine Elizabeth Smith Philips

Jane is a member of Amelia Island Chapter and an

Associate of Kan Yuk sa Chapter. She is a Lifetime

Member of DAR. Her ancestors, the Philips, settled

in South Jacksonville and helped build Northeast

Florida. She previously served as Regent to Amelia

Island Chapter.

We celebrate 75 Years!

1950-2025

The Kan Yuk sa Chapter NSDAR was founded in 1950 in Jacksonville, FL, by a group of patriotic women,

led by our organizing Regent

Catherine Elizabeth Smith Philips.

 We celebrated on Sun. Oct 19, at The Florida Yacht Club with 40 members, Former Regents, State Officers, our new Florida State Regent, and many local chapter members!

Florida State Society consists of 111 chapters statewide.  We attend two state conference meetings each year held in the Orlando area for training, fellowship, and collaboration.
